In 2018, a few years into obsessively drawing and painting blind contour portraits, I challenged myself to doing one-a -day for the 100 day project. I made it a little over half way! 45 completed, another 20 drawn but not painted. I loved the collection so much and had such a great time doing it, that I am still using those portraits in newer works. The series has become titled “The people of April” with pins, prints, color variation studies , coloring books, and possibly a comic in the near future.
